Palmy Home in Ranong, Thailand

For some weeks in autum 2012 I hang out in Ranong and stayed there in Palmy Home, a family-run guesthouse. Since the boarding-house is a really nice place I thought I could do a favour for the family and promote it for the usual travel guides.

'Ecovillage Silimalombu', Samosir Island, Indonesia

The project's focus is on improving the local community. One of the goals is waste reduction and waste disposal. For there is no awareness in the mind of the local population concerning pollution, there is plenty of (especially plastic waste) spread around. To remove that and to teach the people a better way to deal with it is one target.
